Gilroy Associates Welcomes Admiral Mark Ferguson to the Team

WEST CHESTER, Pennsylvania (May 13, 2019) — Gilroy Associates is pleased to announce that retired navy admiral Mark Ferguson has joined the company. Ferguson brings his expertise in leadership, change management, and effective team-building to the advisory firm.

He joins the Gilroy Associates team after a successful naval career, where he rose to the rank of four-star admiral. Highlights include serving as vice chief of naval operations and chief human resources officer, where he led major cross-service initiatives including the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. Under his leadership, the Navy was the first federal agency to receive the Optimas Award for General Excellence by Workforce Management Magazine.

Ferguson has been recognized for introducing innovative personnel policies such as flexible work programs, professional sabbaticals, and professional credentialing for navy work experience. He also brings experience as a board member of a public company and a government research center.
